Giving Back To Leachville, AR

Boe Adams was a big believer in giving back to the community. The Adams family built an estate just east of Leachville on Arkansas Highway 77. This estate houses their corporate office and has gardens are open to the public that include magnificent ponds and sculptures.

For many years, the family held a holiday Festival Of Lights show and visitors from around the state would drive there each year. Proceeds went to local charities. The family donated the lights nearly 20 years ago to Northeast Arkansas's largest lighting festival, Lights of the Delta. It lights up in Blytheville on the Arkansas Aeroplex every holiday season from mid-November to the end of December.

While with A.L. Williams, he also helped Liberty University build a management and financial plan to help with its endowment. Adams donated one-million dollars to Liberty in 1990 to build the Vine Center, named in memory of his wife Myrna Vines Adams' parents.
